Life Beyond Work

by Anisha

Rajesh Sinha com moto

Beyond your role as Chairman, where do you draw inspiration from in your daily life?

I draw inspiration from everyday interactions, whether it's observing people on the street, casual conversations with strangers, or even a chef sharing the story behind a recipe. These moments spark ideas, perspectives, and parallels with the kind of research and innovation we do at Fulcrum to create unique offerings for our clients.

Chef cozinhando

If not a leader, what passion/career would you have followed?

Cooking or teaching. Food is not just about taste; it's about history, creativity, and storytelling, as every recipe has a journey. I would have loved to be a chef, experimenting with recipes, traveling the world, and showcasing the hidden treasures of regional food and culture to a global audience.

Tempo em família e atividades pessoais

How do you like to spend your time when you're not wearing the leadership hat?

First comes "me-time", whether it's hitting the gym, a steam session, or barefoot walks on the beach. Then, it's quality time with my wife and son, having meaningful conversations and enjoying good food together. I also love catching up with friends over laughter and stories, and when I'm by myself, I also spend a lot of time reading and listening about AI & latest technology.

Lição de vida sobre liderança

What's one life lesson you learned outside work that shaped you as a leader?

Expectation management. Not everyone will deliver the way you do. Accept people for who they are, align them with their strengths, and focus your energy where it creates the right impact; unnecessary demands only lead nowhere.

Paixão pela comida

What's one hobby or passion you never gave up on?

Food! I'm a true foodie. I'll work out hard, but I'll never give up on food 😊.

Lista de leitura atual

What's on your current reading list or podcast queue?

• Book currently reading – Right kind of wrong: The Science of Failing Well by Amy Edmondson.
• Podcast – Almost all podcasts by Lex Fridman – AI Daily brief.

Viagem memorável

What's the most memorable place you've ever traveled to, and why?

As a child, my trips to Kathmandu and Darjeeling left a lasting imprint. I remember the charm of local trains winding through tea gardens, the sight of majestic mountains, and the simple joy of sitting with my father over tea and food. Those moments were pure, timeless, and it's a life I'd love to relive.

Lado criativo

Is there a creative side of you (cooking, writing, music, travel photography) that people rarely get to see?

Cooking, of course! I also enjoy designing spaces, anything that lets me play with creativity and aesthetics.

Aprendizado com a nova geração

Anything that you would like to learn from today's generation?

Their fearless curiosity. The questions they ask, and their fresh thought process, inspire me every day.

Conselho para a próxima geração

One piece of life advice to the next generation of leaders and the young workforce you would like to share about living their lives?

Emotions. Thoughts. Actions.

These three are deeply connected; your thoughts spark emotions, and your emotions drive actions. When you choose positive thoughts, they shape positive emotions, which naturally lead to meaningful actions and, ultimately, a fulfilling life.
